Another exciting and very popular song from R D Burman and sung by Kishore Kumar. Jaane Ja Dhoondta Phir Raha is a fast paced song with quick strumming pattern and complex barre chords. So you need have a good hold on your barre chords. The song is in the key of Cm. An interesting chord used is Cm6 which uniquely identifies the song.

To play the Cm6 chord, hold the regular Cm barre chord and lift the pinky from 3rd string 5th fret to 1st string 5th fret. Your ring finger should mute the 3rd string which should not be played.

Yes the starting Cm is a single strum – I should mention that in original post. But I am not hearing Eb in jaan…
It is my understanding that whatever pattern you play, the chord positions shouldn’t change. If it is changing (or you are forced to change it), you might be playing extra (or fewer) strokes in the pattern than necessary.
any possibility of making this easier using a capo?
